CAD CAM Capabilities

Lofthouse employs Solidworks as its primary engineering software. From design to manufacturing, this powerful tool assists us in achieving intricate features with accurate, repeatable dimensional stability.

Lofthouse is almost entirely self-sufficient because of two key components - Corporate Engineering and Tool Manufacturing - more than 95% of Engineering and Tool Manufacturing is done in-house. Only a few “off-the-shelf” standard components are subcontracted, resulting in Lofthouse having complete control of the process from sample submission through to production. We’re not dependent on others meeting our needs. Prototype samples can be manufactured quickly as our captive shop has complete capability and control. Prototype lead times are often measured in a few days rather than in a few weeks.
