Lofthouse has been solving
tough engineering issues since 1957. Our business is based on the
values of our founder, George Lofthouse: to take on difficult jobs,
to solve the problems, and to build strong relationships with customers.
These are the values, which define our company, the values at the
heart of our success and the cornerstone of our customer relationships.
Lofthouse produces non-ferrous forgings –
specifically; brass, aluminum, copper and bronze, for a number of
North American industries, including plumbing, automotive industry, hardware,
medical, HVAC and solenoid markets. We not only press the metal
for you, we are part of the entire process: from developing concepts,
through engineering and production, to creating a product that keeps
you at the forefront of your market.
We also offer custom machining for other manufacturers who require
precise tolerances and finishing, which are beyond their capabilities.
Forging may be what some people call a mature technology, but Lofthouse
has been able to see the potential to move ahead swiftly, competitively
and technologically. This foresight has enabled us to provide a
superior product in a globally influenced market. The sound of thundering
presses is one of the steps in a process that starts with a creative
vision and ends with fully automated manufacturing cells.
In 1994, our plant in Burks Falls, Ontario became the first of
its kind in North America to become ISO-9002 certified. We have over
70,000 square feet of manufacturing
and office space, with the ability to expand. Keeping an eye on
the future is key to our own success, as well as our customers’.
Our company culture is one that fosters continual learning. We
encourage our employees to be both responsible and accountable,
qualities that are at the heart of what defines our company.
We FORGE support and engineering first. ™
